Cheadle Rifle Club is a small, friendly target rifle club, founded in 1947 and based since then at Cheadle Village Hall.
We are a dedicated small-bore (.22 cal.) target rifle club, shooting mainly prone rifle, but with facilities suitable for bench rest shooting for anyone with physical disabilities.
We have our own indoor 25 yard range at Cheadle Village Hall and have access to outdoor ranges at Appleton near Warrington (50 yd, 50 m & 100 yd).
Small-bore target rifle is a recognized English, British, Commonwealth, Olympic and World Championship sport and is accessible to all.
Our aim at Cheadle RC is to provide a safe, friendly environment in which novices can learn the basics of accurate rifle shooting, and to help our members progress along the talent pathway to achieve their true potential, at whatever level that may be.
Cheadle RC is Approved by The Secretary of State as a Small-bore Rifle Club and is affiliated to the National Small-bore Rifle Association (NSRA), the Cheshire & North Wales Rifle & Pistol Association, and the County of Lancaster Small-bore Target Shooting Association.
